Go Snow – Camp!!
Some of you may remember that last January Joe & I invited a couple of the Snow -Camp apprentices to stay with us for a long weekend and they chose two of their most promising apprentices, Deana & Jasmine.
Unfortunately we have not been able to extend the same offer this year, our house is up for sale and ever the optimists we do not want to commit to it and risk disappointing anyone if we find a buyer during this season.
However we are still fervent fans of this charity, supporting in the small ways we can. Joe will be skiing with the Snow – Camp crew who are visiting this December and we have once again auctioned off a lesson with Alpine Learning Curves at the Snowcamp City Auction.
Imagine our delight to receive this email last night, from Lara Kinnear, Snow – Camp’s Programmes Director:
Last night, Snow-Camp was incredibly proud to be awarded Small Employer of the Year at the South-East National Apprenticeship Awards organised by the National Apprenticeship Service. The high profile awards ceremony took place at HMS President, London and celebrated apprenticeships and training across the region.
By receiving this award Snow-Camp will now be featured in the prestigious annual Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list! A huge honour to receive such recognition for our Apprenticeship Programme, now in its third year.
Next up, off to the nationals in January where the winners will be revealed at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Awesome! We are so proud of you Snow – Camp!
