There is no denying it was a difficult week for everyone here in Les Gets over the Christmas holidays. With only one piste open ALC had no option but to move camp up the road to Avoriaz.
If finding transport wasn’t complex enough, our clients had the added problem of queueing for lift passes which were only being sold on a one or two day basis.
Far from complaining, our lovely clients made the best of everything and all our lessons went off without a hitch and the bare minimum scurry. Anyone I spoke to simply expressed a relief that they were skiing at all.
Imagine how lovely it was for us to receive this email at the end of the week:
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Joe, Ed and yourself for superb lessons, particularly given the weather constraints that you are all working under at the moment. In such a short time this afternoon Joe was so effective at getting me to think differently about skiing and with his expert guidance I feel so much more confident and in control…. Truly remarkable in just two hours!
As for Ed… What can I say ??? He has two huge fans in Bella and Ed!!! He has taken them from never even having put on a pair of skis, to confidently turning down the hill unaided and even venturing off of the nursery slopes in just three lessons. They cannot wait to get out there again tomorrow and show us how it’s done!!
We will definitely recommend you to other families and look forward to returning and booking with you again. If there are any websites that you use for posting reviews, please let me know as I will happily do this
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2015.
Julie, Jon, Bella and Ed
Julie, you are welcome back any time!! And just fyi this is what it normally looks like:
I just took this picture at our house at 900m. Yes, our order of the white stuff finally arrived. Les Gets is open and this morning Ed Brown tells me he was skiing powder with face shots!!
