Snowboard learning curves

All around the world Snowboarding has a reputation as being a frustrating, difficult and even painful thing to learn. If things:

  • Don’t go as planned we get frustrated
  • Become too slow we get bored
  • Go too fast we get nervous & tense

But Snowboarding, like most sports, shouldn’t and doesn’t have to be any of these things.

Nathan

These emotions are all natural but will make Snowboarding much harder and lead us to make bad decisions. Often the causes of these problems are well meaning friends, family and sometimes instructors, who all just want you to get the most out of your time in the mountains.

When learning new skills we aught not to be concerned with these extra pressures!

The pace and intensity level of my lessons are individually tailored to suit each student. I allow everyone to learn and practice their new skills at a comfortable rate, rapidly developing the understanding and the feel required to keep control even as conditions change and speed increases. Let our Ski & Snowboard School show you how!

Nathan Craig, see you on the slopes!
